More than just a control element

Design and user convenience combined: the control panel opens and closes gently at the touch of a finger – without opening the appliance door. Hidden behind the lift-up control panel are the water container, condensate container, and the wireless food probe. For the best view of the display, the panel is tilted towards you when pressing the button.

Adding a little crisp and crunch

A flavourful layer of crispiness gives certain foods just the right finishing touch. For example, potatoes or croquettes can be made crispy by cooking them in a dry oven setting, which is achieved by deliberately reducing the moisture in the oven compartment. You also have the option of using the Crisp function as well.

The versatile solution for consistent results

Perfection to suit your taste: the Miele Steam Oven is the ideal complement to the oven and cooktop and ensures best cooking results. Fast heat-up times and cooking durations as well as even steam distribution make it easier for you to prepare food – this is made possible with a powerful external steam generator (3.3 kW) and the special positioning of 2 MultiSteam steam inlets.

Perfectly combining wet and dry heat

Flexibility for best baking and roasting results: combine humidity and dry heat as you wish. To achieve the very best results, this combined mode allows you to set the temperature (between 30°C and 225°C) as well as the moisture level (0% to 100%). These settings can be changed up to 10 times in quick succession. So you can achieve the results that satisfy your culinary desires.

Everything in a single appliance

The 3 in 1 principle gives you 3 cooking modes in one single appliance. For example, you can use oven mode to achieve crispy results or the steam cooking function to cook food while preserving flavour and nutrients. But for the very best results, use the appliance’s combined mode.

How long do bread and vegetables take to cook? When you use different, intelligent automatic programs to prepare your meals, you no longer have to set the temperature or duration – your appliance can automatically make your everyday cooking that much easier. Do you like your chicken a little on the crispy side? For many foods, you can even specify how well you like them done or how brown you want them to be.

Preserving nutrients and protecting your appliance

At the end of the cooking time, food is automatically kept warm for up to 15 minutes without loss of quality. So it doesn’t matter if you’re a few minutes late

In our innovative appliances, and in contrast to other systems, the steam is generated by a unit located outside the oven compartment. During the cooking process, the oven compartment fills up with steam, which displaces the oxygen. And because scale cannot build up in the oven, cleaning is easier than ever.
